How we’ll work with you
Initial assessment
The first step is a 60-minute face-to-face consultation at our clinic in Surbiton.
This is a chance for our physiotherapist to assess, diagnose, create a treatment plan and – if appropriate – begin treatment.
Your physiotherapist will apply evidence-based practice to treat you and help you manage your condition, with an individual treatment plan to suit your needs.
Depending on your assessment, treatment may include:
guided exercise and rehabilitation – including a personalised exercise programme to help your recovery
manual therapy and mobilisation – additional manipulation and mobilisation of joints and soft tissues to complement your overall management plan
western medical acupuncture – to aid pain relief and encourage recovery
education and advice – helping you understand and manage your condition, while allaying your fears or concerns
Our physiotherapists are all registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). They have years’ of experience working across both the NHS and private practice.
